It's been awhile, and we're excited to have her back in full force. This is a great one all around. Stellar performances and lots of laughs. Last time she was on the show, she was promoting a Kickstarter campaign which resulted in her latest recording "Possum Diva". A great CD. Please purchase a copy on her website. Wow! What a night. We set up the show on-site inside the lobby of the Buckhead Theatre for the Premiere of Eric Von Haessler's ("The Regular Guys Show" on ROCK 100.5) documentary, "Scarred But Smarter (life n times of drivin n cryin)". Eric has been on Two Faces Radio several times, and we've been following and discussing with him the making of this film for about 3 years now. So we're pretty excited to be able to be apart of the premiere in Atlanta. Drivin N Cryin has been on with us before, too (check out Episode #36). This is a multiple guest, star-studded show. So come along for the ride! Guests include: Eric Von Haessler , Sadler Vaden (DNC), Derry deBorja (Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit), "Southside" Steve Rickman (The Regular Guys Show), Kevin Kinney (DNC), and more... #77 - Hair Metal Madness 4!!! Part Two
Sunday Apr 14, 2013
Sunday Apr 14, 2013
THIS IS PART TWO! Welcome Back. This is the conclusion of HMM4 2013. Hope you enjoyed Part One. The battle continues, and the Champion is crowned. Enjoy! It's BACK, folks!!! To coincide with the NCAA's March Madness (Although it's April) - Bryan, Ira, and Tim bring you our annual Hair Metal Madness Tournament. This year, it's the "Gypsy Road to the Final Four" WORST Hair Metal BALLADS of all time. If we have to pick a different Hair Metal "theme" each year, there was no doubt that at some point we would have to discuss the "Ballads" - the inevitable slow tune that every one of those bands had to release after their first rockin' tune was a hit. Well, guess what, ladies - this is the year! But the twist is, we argue for the worst. Strap in! Enjoy! https://www.facebook.com/twofacesradio - Check out photos of the bracket in the "Hair Metal Madness" photo album on our page http://zacrecording.com/

#73 PART TWO - Video Rahim, Ashley Simpson, Dan Dixon, Elijah Jones
Friday Dec 14, 2012
Friday Dec 14, 2012
PART TWO! Great Atlanta Film Maker Video Rahim joins us in the studio along with Producer Ashley Simpson, Dan Dixon (DROPSONIC, PLS PLS), and Elijah Jones (The Constellations). In Part Two of this podcast we discuss much about the genesis and making of the highly compelling feature-length documentary about Knoxville, TN band "The Dirty Works" called "Rebel Scum", but we also talk more about Video Rahim's other work and creative process, and various random fun stuff. Even if you haven't seen "Rebel Scum", the story of how it came together, and the intricacies of dealing with the producers, distributors, audiences, film festivals, and "The Dirty Works" themselves is quite compelling. Enjoy! *Before listening to this show, it may be a good idea to check out Video Rahim's videos, including the trailer for Rebel Scum. PART ONE! Great Atlanta Film Maker Video Rahim joins us in the studio along with Producer Ashley Simpson, Dan Dixon (DROPSONIC, PLS PLS), and Elijah Jones of The Constellations. Video Rahim produces, directs, and edits music videos for various local bands, and they are phenomenal. We're huge fans of his work, and it was great to get him on the show to talk about his craft, and as usual, a zillion other things. His latest music video for PLS PLS's "Cocaine" has just been released, featuring Dan Dixon and Elijah Jones. Those two guys are with us as well to talk about the making of the video, music, and other stuff. They also perform a great version of "Cocaine" live in our studio. Enjoy! Video Rahim has also made a highly compelling feature-length documentary about Knoxville, TN band "The Dirty Works" called "Rebel Scum", which we'll talk about mostly in PART TWO (Stay Tuned...) *Before listening to this show, it may be a good idea to check out Video Rahim's videos, including the trailer for Rebel Scum. #72 - Blair Crimmins & The Hookers
Friday Nov 30, 2012
Friday Nov 30, 2012
Blair Crimmins & The Hookers joins us in the studio! This is the trio version of the group, sans horns and dancing girls. When people ask Blair what kind of music he plays, he makes it real simple. He just says "Ragtime". And boy does he do it well. We're very happy to say that we got more music on this show than we bargained for, and had a great time as usual goofing around with the band, and sporadically finding out more about them. We're honored to say that Atlanta is home to a band playing original music in this traditional style. Very cool. Enjoy! And as always, please tell a friend or two about our show. They'll love you for it! *DO NOT MISS Blair Crimmins and the Hookers playing at The Variety Playhouse in Atlanta THIS SATURDAY 12/1/2012 with recent podcast guests The Whiskey Gentry! http://www.variety-playhouse.com/ http://www.blaircrimminsandthehookers.com/ https://www.facebook.com/blaircrimminsandthehookers https://www.facebook.com/twofacesradio

The performances here are incredibly good, and we all had a blast hanging out together, as you'll hear. These guys are destined for greatness. You'll be able to say you heard 'em on Two Faces Radio back when... From their bio: "Around their tales of heartaches and hard times, they crafted a high-octane brand of traditional southern music that's planted firmly in the present." ALSO, be sure to see them live Saturday, November 24th at The Peachtree Tavern in Buckhead, Atlanta. http://www.reverbnation.com/radiolucent https://www.facebook.com/radiolucent http://www.zacrecording.com/ https://www.facebook.com/twofacesradio - Check out photos of all of our guests in studio!
